American Artists Project presents an exciting two part event on September 14, 2024 where we will discuss the importance of using your voice and your vote in shaping our community. Come to be inspired, register to vote, or just to get cool from the Texas heat! Tickets to each concert sold separately!
This first concert at 1:00 PM will feature an emotional theatrical presentation of selected scenes from the play Barbara Jordan: One Voice by Grammy nominated Broadway star Frenchie Daviswho will also perform songs with Crystal Paull and the Christopher Spivey and Companygospel choir. Indian-American musician Nagavalli will be collaborating with musicians to bring her rich, soulful "Eastern Soul" music to life on stage.
Then grab your tickets, a snack, and stay for another powerful concert at 3:00pm featuring an impactful dance performance from trailblazing dance group The Rollettes, inspiring set from Columbian Funk and Caríbe Soul group Superfónicosand more coming together to make a difference and create positive change.
