American Artists Project’s Young Artist Program (YAP) brings together AAP team members and grant recipients with young artists in a nexus of professional development and paid opportunities to showcase their artistic talents.
The program focuses on underrepresented middle and high school students studying music and all arts-related fields, enabling them to develop their artistic skills. Grants subsidize private lessons for the young artists with from AAP’s pre-approved list of professionals. Areas of study and teaching encompass but are not limited to: arts technology, marketing, vocal techniques, instrumental techniques, directing, acting, dance, choreography, photography, web design and more.
